How to Rock Your Sneakers In And Out Of The Gym

So most us had to commit to wearing our sneakers only when we’ve got our best pair of yoga pants on. Well, that’s over. Now, with so many options for us girls in the sneaker world, we can look athletic and fashionable with the same comfy shoe.

There are a couple of ways to achieve this; whether you’re wearing an athletic pair of Nike’s, low-top converses or old-school Reeboks. Here we go:

We love the monochromatic look. Black, white or grey (jeans, tights or even a long black skirt) and tying it all in with a pair or bright sneakers for a pop of color.

Wear a pair of skinny or boyfriend jeans with a white tee and a scarf. Add a cardigan or leather jacket to finish off the look. (Make sure you roll up those boyfriend jeans to showcase your sneaks!)

This one is one of your faves: Throw on a great textured blazer with a neutral tee and jeans and a pair of low top sneakers like converses. Don’t forget to accessorize!

Try a dress! A basic tube or maxi dress can be worn with your fave pair of sneakers.

For the boldest of them all, try a metallic sneaker. A gold, silver or bronze sneaker can look super glam with a sweatshirt and leather sneakers or even a mini skirt.

Whether you’re rocking your sneakers to catch the next spin class or heading out for a shopping day in the city, make it look fabulous either way! Gone are the days of being “dressed down” in sneakers. And if anyone asks, Astound Magazine told you so ;).
